The production process of soft PVC and hard PVC is slightly different. Because the soft plastic product formula adds the most plasticizer, the kneading plasticization is an important part in the production of soft PVC pipe. In the soft PVC kneading process, in order to make the resin be swelled by the plasticizer, the kneaded material is uniformly dispersed, and the order of addition must be paid attention to. When adding a certain amount of filler (such as CaCO3), the resin and plasticizer should be mixed first. If the resin and the filler are first mixed, and then the plasticizer is added; because the particle structure of the filler is generally looser than the resin, when both are present, the plasticizer first infiltrates into the filler particles, and The resin cannot be sufficiently swollen. The kneading is generally carried out using a "Z" type kneading machine, and the jacket is heated, and the vapor pressure is about 0.24 to 0.39 MPa. Kneading for 50~60min. After kneading, it should be frequently flipped to prevent the resin from overheating and decomposing itself. The kneaded material is granulated and then sent to an extruder to extrude the pipe. The extrusion temperature can be slightly lower than the temperature of the extruded PVC pipe.
